               I'm Melissa

Welcome to my blog!

On paper, I am a recent (well, I'm going to keep saying recent even though it's going on 2 years) graduate with a bachelor's in Writing. 

Currently, I am back in school working on an associate's in Early Childhood Education--- yep, I just can't let it go. I also, work as a customer service rep for a public library. Need stories about strange people and happenings? I've got plenty to share. Weirdos love to read. 

I was born and raised in St. Louis, MO where I gained my unhealthy obsession with baseball. Now I live in sweet, southern Indiana with my husband and our army of pets. And when I say army, I mean 3 dogs, a guinea pig, a hamster, and a fish. Yeah, we love our animals. I fear for the day we start having children. 

So, what is this blog about?

My blog is an open book of many things. A compilation of my thoughts and happenings in my life.

This includes, but is not limited (because limits, yuck) to: 

• My husband, or husbands and marriage in general. Also, the daily struggles of having a spouse with a chronic disease and what that means.
• My pets, because we all know I've got as lot of them
• Books, movies, music, and general entertainment do-dads
• Current events (because, hey it's a blog and I have opinions) 

 ....and the list could go on and on and on because I like to talk. 

In a nutshell, I am a baseball loving,  
                     wine drinking, 
                              coffee addict,  
                                    book enthusiast, 
who hopes to write a book one day.
